Week 2...

Weighed in first thing this morning and the scale didn't budge one ioda!! So in a very grumpy mood went to the gym and ran 4.5 next to "Mrs. Stinky Pants" and then went home to hop in the shower to get ready for work!
Amazing what you can work out of your system when feeling a bit pissy (pun totally intended)and on a side note, the bathrooms should be closer to the treadmills for we mothers who have had more than one child, I waste a lot of time wandering through the weights to the bathroom and back again, and then trying to get my running mojo back on the treadmill.
Stepped on the scale after stinky workout and had lost 3 pounds... yeah! 8 pounds total to date.
This weeks challenge- WATER still going to work on getting that water into me!
Ran total 23 miles last week... shooting for 26 this week!

Week End...

So here we are on Saturday the end of week two in our Biggest Loser comp... I am feeling pretty good, Billy keeps me motivated... that is awesome! So maybe I CAN start running again and maybe I CAN get rid of this caboose that has been following me around for  the last 5 years!
Challenge update- right now I am at 19 miles for the week and hope to be 24 for by the end of today. Not too shabby for my first real attempt at running in 7 years.
Weigh in will be monday so no update for now. Doing better on water intake, still need to work on it though!
Still loving the green smoothies and adding Salba seeds to my diet. Feel Great!

Chelsea's Green Smoothie...

I have been making these green smoothies for breakfast ever since Chelsea introduced them to us over the holidays... I totally was sceptical but I will tell you if Chance will suck one down and ask for more then don't worry about your picky eater..plus the kids think the color is COOL...

2 cups water/ice
1 banana
1 peeled orange
1 cup frozen peaches
4 cups fresh spinach (tried frozen.. nasty..)
1/2 cup fresh Kale (one leaf chopped)
1 slice of lemon or lime
I add two or three packets of stevia, or you could add honey, agavia or whatever to sweeten.
Blend well and enjoy.

This makes 4- 1 1/2 cup servings, about 75 calories each without the sweetener.

Week 1...

5 pounds down... total percentage of weightloss for the week... 2.53%...
I am purty excited about that... motivated to do just as well this week!

Took Bills challenge and ran/walk 4 miles this morning (56 minutes).. feel great.. I am so excited to put back on my very dusty running shoes! If I can go from couch to 4 so can YOU!!!

This weeks challenge.. WATER... my goal is 64oz a day!
